Benalla is known as the street art capital of Regional Victoria.

Each year Benalla hosts the Benalla Street Art Festival which sees street artists from Australia and overseas descend on this regional town to bring colour and artworks of an epic scale.

Explore the colourful, art filled streets of Benalla on your self guided walk, further add to the experience with the Storytowns- Benalla Street Art app . A great opportunity for you to in the region’s history and culture.

As you meander along, hear/see from celebrated artists discussing their iconic artworks and the fascinating stories behind them. Renowned artist Adnate’s powerful portrait “Burmese Girl” was voted eighth best in the world and at three stories high, towers over Benalla’s main street.

Other highlights of the tour include “Squirrel Glider” by Jimmy Dvate, Anton Pulvirenti’s “Serafina”, Down the Rabbit Hole by Robyn Grove, Sticks and Stones by Tim Bowtell and Sirum’s epic Ned Kelly mural.
