Winton Festival of Speed celebrates the golden eras of Australian motorsport, bringing together a remarkable collection of historically significant race cars at Winton Motor Raceway.

Visitors can experience the sights, sounds and atmosphere of classic circuit racing, with continuous on track action and a strong festival feel.

The event features a diverse range of historic and heritage categories, including group n historic touring cars, heritage touring cars from groups c and a, group s sports cars, formula ford, classic MGs and invited British marques. European favourites such as Alfa Romeo racing, Porsche 944 challenge and BMW E30 racing add further depth to the racing program.

Super sprint competition expands the experience even further, showcasing five litre touring cars, V8 brutes, Auscars, GT cars from the modern era, Touring CarTributes and Touring Car Legends. The event also introduces the Fitzy Cup, a Porsche focused category celebrating the legacy of Peter Fitzgerald and his contribution to Australian motorsport.

Beyond the circuit, Winton Festival of Speed embraces the character of the surrounding high country region. Local produce, hospitality and entertainment experiences combine with open paddock access and relaxed trackside viewing.
