Just 50 kilometres from Benalla and 36 kilometres from Mansfield, it is the perfect spot to unplug and enjoy simple, back-to-nature camping. Bring your own water and firewood, then make the most of the bush toilet, picnic shelter, tables and fire pits.
Once you have set up camp, stretch your legs with a short walk to the Ned Kelly ambush site, where local history adds an extra layer of adventure to your visit.
Please take care on Tatong–Tolmie Road, as log trucks use this route. Drive to the conditions, keep an eye out for oncoming traffic and enjoy the journey safely
