Benalla Street Art Festival 2025 brought the walls to life once again, cementing Benalla’s place as Australia’s Regional Street Art Capital. Over four vibrant days in April, the town’s laneways and buildings became the canvas for 10 new large-scale murals by a mix of renowned and emerging artists. Highlights included striking new works by Adnate, known for his powerful portraits; Tim Bowtell’s thought-provoking local storytelling; and Minna Leunig’s bold, organic linework. From artist talks and walking tours to pop-up galleries and live music, the festival pulsed with creative energy—leaving behind a trail of colour, culture, and connection.
Looking ahead to 2026, the buzz is already building. The next Benalla Street Art Festival is set for April 27-29 March, 2026, with an exciting new artist line-up soon to be revealed.
